Opening with the explosive ‘Scarlet Cardigan’, the band have held nothing back in creating a fast paced and undeniably British sound, but with subtle shades of New York’s underground garage rock scene due to their sheer, unbridled energy. Things take a breather for ‘Step Of Your Shoes’, but don’t be fooled - you’re only a verse away from another burst of intensity, showcasing the band’s ability to toy with the listener’s expectations. EP closer and title track ‘Moving In Slow Motion’ serves as a masterclass in indie pop, with catchy hooks and lyrical tone that could sit well beside the likes of Jamie T and Catfish & The Bottlemen.
