Proud Camden, Camden Town, United Kingdom

Two dear friends and musical compadres join forces for 1 night only as part of the Camden Fringe 2017.

Details

Huw Joseph is a multi faceted performer born in the UK, raised in Melbourne that now resides permanently in London. A comedic singer-song writer, commercial radio DJ and comedy actor / TV presenter who’s videos garner millions of views online, he has performed over 1000 times publicly on stages varying from 15 people to 15,000 and can hold down either effortlessly.

His one true passion above all else is his original music and full line up known as Huw Joseph and the Immoral Support Band. Inspired by the likes of Frank Zappa, Tim Minchin, Flight of the Conchords, Ween, Tenacious D, Kings of Leon, Jeff Buckley this is not traditional musical comedy, this is musicality meets irreverent lyrics. You can expect on stage antics, guest actors and some wonderfully constructed melodic pop rock with cheeky lyrical content. You need to see this live act to believe it!

Melbourne International Comedy Festival review.

“While the show includes several stand-up skits that all merit a laugh, it is the songs that are the highlight. The band is extremely tight you can tell they have a lot of musical experience – keep an eye on these guys!”  –  Herald Sun

BANDINI is an incredibly talented and charismatic Italian songwriter who is already adored by an ever-growing tribe of followers around London and abroad. Bandini has taken UK venues by storm with his charismatic stance connecting audiences through his rugged, however intimate vocal approach, raw piano and harmonica exaltations, he achieves a unique blend of magnetism; transforming his acting school experience into a mesmerizing theatre show. Soon to present his debut album ‘Barflies’ – Bandini has been described as Organic New Orleans Gypsy Blues Pop – (Tom Waits meets Louis Prima, Dr John and The Neville Brothers accompanied by Kid Creole’s Coconuts providing attitude harmony). His full line- up can be anywhere up to 10 incredible players on stage at a time, that make the incredible BANDINI and the Barflies.

Amongst some stellar reviews, The Troubadour referred to Bandini as

“The bastard son of Cab Calloway and Tom Waits”.

Also joining on the night in support is the prolific American songstress Meg Cavanaugh. Prepare to be blown away she is amazing!!
